Seasonal Schools

The exemplar of our innovative teaching method

The Institute of Design Innovation’s first seasonal school took place in January 2016, involving students from across the world.

Seasonal schools are an exemplar of our progressive teaching modes. They allow InDI to build collaborative partnerships with other international design schools and local communities, as well as develop the discipline of design innovation. Research and teaching carried out during the schools benefits organisations and communities, as well as students on our programmes.

The inaugural Winter School in 2016 demonstrated our vision in action, and gave a brief glimpse into the pioneering activities of our new campus.

In summer 2016, InDI hosted Summer School in association with the Leapfrog project. The event focussed on the subject of action research and attracted delegates from across the world. We also hold smaller schools in autumn and spring that work with our post-graduate cohort.
